      Starting in November 1999

I saw my first ASR trial in Barbersville, Florida in November 1999.
And I was sold! ASR was the closest thing to what I was doing.

I drove for 5 hours, 280 miles, round trip 3-4 days a week to
work with Ted Hoppe learning the ASR Program. Believe me, this
was NOT an easy task! Ted made me earn everything! :-)

As I learned the program, I helped to add to it.
2 of my suggestions in early 2000 for advancing the ASR program were:

Level 2: Added suited decoy for the Muzzle exercise
Level 2: Anti-Car Jacking exercise, hidden sleeve exercise.

I also worked to RAISE the standard of decoy work during the
ASR trials. I wanted to see each ASR decoy perform each
exercise not only correctly, but CONSISTENTLY!

After 3 years I EARNED the title of Senior ASR Decoy from Ted.
I am currently the ONLY Certified Level 3 Training & Trial Decoy.
Which means I Mastered the skills necessary to train ASR Decoys and
	dogs to ASR Level 3.
**Anyone else claiming this Title is making a false claim.**

NEW! As of December 4th, 2016, I am a Certified USCA Schutzhund Helper!

==========================================================
My Certification In 2003, Ted awarded me a Lifetime Membership to ASR and the only Lifetime ASR Decoy. In April 2004, ASR took a different direction. The "idea" for this direction was good, unfortunetly, lack of the proper leadership with the decoy work and favortism for certain trials, caused such strife, bickering, and argument, that no one wanted to participate in the trials or have anything to do with them any longer. So in early 2006, Ted took back control and disbanded it. It was a sad time. But the HEART of American Street Ring could not die! And Serious dog trainers still use ASR as the strong foundation that it is to train their dogs! Ted Hoppe have reorganized American Street Ring and Professional Trainers will be able to Certify their dogs in American Street Ring. But not as in the past during trials. You will either "Pass or Fail" the Certification. The FIRST ASR CERTIFICATION was held at the Loxahatchee Working Dog Club on June 26th, 2011. For more information about becoming a member of AAG PDTA please drop me an email! I will continue training dogs in the American Street Ring Exercises. You can see some of them on my ASRDOGMAN Youtube Page
